Rhinoplasty<\/a> is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgery procedures in Turkey, as it is worldwide. Some people seek this type of surgery because they have difficulty breathing, while others undergo rhinoplasty due to aesthetic concerns about the shape of their nose. <\/p>

Rhinoplasty encompasses a series of operations performed to improve the shape and function of the nose. These operations can be performed using both surgical and non-surgical methods. Rhinoplasty refers to surgical rhinoplasty procedures, while liquid rhinoplasty is a technique performed using injection methods. Except for nose reduction through injections, many aesthetic issues in the nose can be addressed using non-surgical methods. One of the greatest advances in aesthetic surgery is rhinoplasty, or nose surgery. Today, nose surgery can be performed without incisions, plaster casts or tampons, in an operation lasting an average of 1.5 hours. With the closed rhinoplasty method, incisions are made inside the nostrils, and the shape of the nose is corrected using special instruments. This results in a faster post-operative recovery process, with the nose fully healing within 1 week to 10 days. Although rhinoplasty may seem like a straightforward procedure for patients, it is a complex and technical surgery for surgeons. This is because the nose has a three-dimensional structure and is located right in the centre of the face. Minimal interventions can make a big difference. The shape of the nose must be in harmony with the overall structure and characteristic features of the face. Aesthetic and functional perfection must be achieved; otherwise, revision surgeries can be much more challenging, especially for the patient, than the initial operation. Like all surgical procedures, rhinoplasty carries some risks. However, rhinoplasty has lower risks compared to other cosmetic surgeries, and complications are quite rare. General anaesthesia is typically used during the procedure, so patients do not feel any pain. Patients can usually return home on the same day after the procedure. In rare cases, if nausea or other health issues arise, the patient may be kept under observation in the hospital for one night.
