Dynamic Nose Art Dynamic Rhinoplasty

In the past, the tip of the nose of people who underwent rhinoplasty usually remained motionless after plastic surgery and this would cause it to be understood that aesthetic intervention was performed. In a natural nose structure, the nose also moves depending on facial expressions; for example, the nose moves more naturally while laughing, crying or sleeping. However, in aesthetic nose operations, the tip of the nose usually remains fixed together with the cartilage tissue, and the tip of the nose not moving during facial expressions could sometimes lead to an undesirable appearance.

Many rhinoplasty patients complained that the nose was stiff and immobile after surgery. These patients faced problems such as the nose causing discomfort to the other person while kissing, not being able to sleep face down, and the tip of the nose being hard while wiping their nose. In addition, since the nose did not move, the aesthetic nose could be noticed at first glance.

Movable nasal tip aesthetics allows the nasal tip to gain mobility by preserving some structures in the lower third of the nose and using special techniques if it is suitable for the nasal structure. With this method, the tip of the nose moves in harmony with the facial muscles during smiling or other mimic movements.

For this aesthetic approach, the connection between the tip of the nose and the cartilage tissue must be carefully analyzed. Before the surgery, people who will have rhinoplasty are photographed from 8 different angles and video images of the tip of the nose are taken. In addition, analyzes are made on how the nose moves during speaking, laughing and other mimic movements. In the light of this data, the nose is designed and the most suitable shape is given to the person.

The nose tip droop, width or size is designed according to the examinations and special stitches are applied to provide this movement. Thus, the nose is transformed into a more natural and mobile form from its aesthetic state that initially appears stiff. Movable nasal tip aesthetics can be performed with closed technique when the nasal structure is suitable.

Technical Note: Dynamic Rhinoplasty can be performed without Scroll and Pitanguy Ligament support.
